NCOCC Academy
NCOCC, in partnership with Ashland University, offers graduate credit for classes taken through NCOCC. These classes may be full courses, offered in the summer months, such as; 'ProgressBook Boot Camp', 'SmartBoard Workshop', or 'Google Workshop,' or they could be a collection of classes toward an NCOCC created course called, 'Technology in the Classroom'.
The Technology in the Classroom (TC) Course is actually divided into three courses, I, II, and III. For each course you need 14 contact hours of NCOCC classes. For II and III these classes need to be additional hours/classes. In other words, Excel 1 can only be taken once for credit, it cannot be used for TC I and TC II.
- For each Course you will need to complete a 2 page paper (guidelines are provided).
- The paper should be 2 pages long, double spaced, size 12 font, in Times New Roman.
- Workshops require completion of a project, in lieu of the paper, and this is dependent on the workshop chosen. (Guidelines are provided as well as a grading rubric.)
- There is an additional cost for graduate credit, due upon the first day of class, checks made payable to Ashland University. *Credit/debit cards can be used for an additional % paid to Ashland.*
